Monterey is not just a place to have church -- it's a place that reaches out to serve and support the needs of our community. The following ministries are just a few of the ways that people of all backgrounds can find a helping hand or a place to belong.
DivorceCare
Divorce Hurts. Are you or someone you know hurting? Find help at DivorceCare. DivorceCare is a special weekly seminar and support group for people who are separated or divorced. Our fall session will begin September 9th at 5:00pm, in Room 252. For more information contact Elaina Cantrell at ecantrell@nts-online.net or call DeAnn Gwinn at 795-5201.
Reconnected
Reconnected ministry meets Wednesday nights during the school year for class, fellowship, and activities. This ministry serves blended families of all shapes and sizes.
Sugar N Spice Preschool
SNS provides a fun Christian learning environment for preschool education and quality childcare. Children are encouraged to participate in a variety of new challenges and relationships through planned programs in an age-appropriate curriculum. Classes are offered Tuesdays and Thursdays during the school year from 9am to 2:30pm. Extended care is offered before and after school to allow more children to partcipate in the SNS program. For more information, please contact the SNS office at 795-8079.
Third Day Ministry
On the third Saturday of each month, a group of volunteers from Monterey goes into the community to help with special needs. Projects include mowing lawns, painting houses, and making minor repairs. Volunteers of all ages are always needed.
