OPERATIONS MINISTER
Sean Collins
Since joining the Monterey team in May 2017, Sean Collins has overseen business operations including finance, safety, HR, facilities and grounds, and IT. With over 20 years of executive experience, he finds joy in the diversity of his role and is deeply committed to the Monterey’s mission to “Love God, Love Others.” A Lubbock resident since the eighth grade, Sean is a Monterey High School and Texas Tech alumnus (BBA) with graduate studies through Liberty and Regent University. He is a veteran of the Army and Army Reserves, having served in Saudi Arabia during Operation Desert Storm. Sean and his wife, Kristie, married in 1988 and have been part of the Monterey family since 1999. They have three children—Kelsie, Cade, and Jaycie—and two shorkies, Frankie and Mazie. Outside of work, Sean is an avid fan of the Broncos, Red Sox, and Red Raiders, and he enjoys golfing (disc and round ball), hiking, reading, and green chili. Driven by his spiritual gifts of administration, faith, and service, he looks to Isaiah 41:10 as his guiding scripture
